    “ This is a unique bit of TSR history. I was part of the TSR educational department. It lasted for about nine months. The idea was for TSR to produce highly educational modules to sell directly into the school markets of the world. Each was to have a different theme and there were three of them. With these, teachers everywhere would be doing our job of teaching role-playing to thousands of students.
    Although these three were typeset they were never printed for sale. What you have here is my preproduction copy of educational module number one with my editorial notes from 43 years ago. From this step it was then typeset.
    TSRs sales reps couldn’t crack the educational market with these three modules. Eventually, the educational department became the highly successful book department with the printing of the first four pick-a-path adventures.
    **For some reason only the second student character sheet is missing from the manuscript. **
