A SERVICE
to refurbish your FT 857 / 857D control  head. If you have the zebra stripes on your Yaesu 857 Control head and would like a crystal-clear display again, this service would  solve that problem. This repair will also fix a non-functioning head.  Photos show  some before and after pictures. The last two photos show the new Yaesu panel  that is installed.
The service involves: I disassemble  the head completely.  The shell and buttons are washed while the head is disassembled. I will then install all new  electronics (control board with new LCD). These are original NEW OEM parts from Yaesu, not knock-offs. If the frequency encoder is loose/sloppy, I will also  rebuild it as part of the service. The service does not include new knobs,case, or volume control, however, these can be purchased for a minimal  additional fee only if needed and authorized.
I’m a radio repair center and have  been providing this service for 4 years. Here is how the process works. Purchase my service here on eBay and ship your control head to me.
SHIP  THE CONTROL HEAD ONLY
. Do not ship the entire radio. I carry parts in  stock so the turn around for the repair is 1 to 2 days. I will ship your  control head by Priority Mail. Delivery is typically 2 days from KC to most of the country, so if you ship your control head the same day you order, your radio should only be down a week.
I also offer this service to  international customers. I have refurbished heads from as far as Australia.I will send an invoice via eBay that will include the additional shipping cost for international shipping. You will also need to pay any taxes.
Missouri residents will need to pay an 8% sales tax that will be added to the invoice.
