Western Electric 2HE Telephone Dial (Without Number Plate)
For Candlestick or 102 Desk Set / Telephone
(For use with a 132-E JMRW Party Line Number Plate - NOT INCLUDED)
The dial has a 2-30 manufacture date on the back of the dial.
The p
atent dates are imprinted on the back of the dial and not on the rim like most #2 dials.
Imprinted on the back of the dial is,
"WESTERN ELECTRIC, PAT IN USA,  AUG 13 12, AUG 24 15, DES MAY 7 18, SEPT 13 21, MADE IN USA"
2HE dials have
5 terminals, not 4 terminals as is the case with most #2 dials.
The dial has a solid Brass finger wheel and an original dial number card and ring holder
.
The 2HE finger stop has a deep scratch in it.
This dial has that very desirable
loud clickety clack sound.
The dial has been serviced and tested on a digital telephone tester.  Works correctly.
Add your number plate and the dial is ready for use on a candlestick or 102 desk set.
* I just realized there is an extra number plate retaining ring shown in pictures 1 & 2 that is not included. The original retaining ring is already installed on the dial as shown in picture 2.
