Vintage Wade & Butcher Sheffield Wedge Straight Razor. The blade measures 7/8, original non-restored condition, has NOT been honed and stropped to shave ready. The blade features an awesome etch with the American Eagle and " E Pluribus Unum." The razor has not been unpinned for cleaning or restoration. The front scale has a stable crack at one end, and although stable in a collectible setting I would recommend repairing or replacing the front scale if intending to make shave ready and put into a shave rotation. The rear scale also has a tiny nick as shown. Comes in it's original box. Overall an awesome razor.
All vintage blades from my collection may include blemishes such as minor scratches, freckles or pitting on blade surface, various amounts of wear, but nothing that will affect the blades ability to be honed and stropped to shave ready (unless I've noted specific defects above). All blades sold from my collection in non-restored, non-honed condition will require honing services to make shave ready, some blades requiring no more than a light honing session and others requiring minor edge correction, bevel setting and full honing session.
