My wall decors are made of antique wood recycled from old, cracked and decaying furniture.
The furniture panels will be cut into boards first, the boards then go through careful shaping, cleaning and grinding. To restore the original structure of the wood and to achieve a special look after transferring the picture on to the board it will also be treated with special antique restoration materials and lacquering.
Each wall decor is handcrafted and each one of them has its own story. No two are exactly the same. From finding the raw material to deciding on the picture for each board to match the characteristics of the wood it is a unique journey. A journey that I thoroughly enjoy from start to finish.
But this finish is not the end of their story. The story of each wall decor will continue by its new owner. And to ensure a happy new chapter for each of them customer satisfaction is first priority to me.
