    Description

    This is a "New Old Stock" copy of a Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set; 5th Printing from 1979. It has the TSR wizard logo, Product Code: 1001; chits instead of dice.- a rare sealed one in the original shrink wrap. The upper left corner of the cover has a dent under the plastic (see 2nd image). This was from a small cache of miscellaneous unopened TSR games found in a shipping box from John N. Hansen Co., a game maker and distributor. A UPS sticker on the box is dated "JAN 27 '81." This game was never put out for sale and was carefully packed in the original shipping box for forty years, away from prying hands and sunlight! The colors are as bright as the day the box was made. The shrink wrap is intact.
    The corrugated cardboard shipping box is not included.
