    Description

The razor is from the famous Sheffield manufacturer Frederick Reynolds, who founded his company in the early 40s of the 19th century. It is noteworthy that Reynolds began his activity precisely as a razor manufacturer and was precisely a razor master and not a knife cutter or manufacturer of other cutting tools, in my opinion this is what gave his products a unique design, which, despite all the similarity of 19th century Sheffield razors, cannot be confused with others .
The razor has a new horny handle fom Elk horn, made of Sheffield carbon steel, blade width -7/8 (22 mm).
The razor is sharpened and ready to shave.
Restored to Shave Ready condition a 1860 Frederick Reynolds 7/8" (22mm) straight razor.
The blade has been sanded, buffed, polished (to a satin finish), sharpened, honed, and stropped.
    New Elk Horn scales.
