We are not jewelers or gemologists.  We do not know color or clarity, and do not know if stoes are natural, heated, enhanced, or synthetic.  We measure stones whie they are in their settings, so the measurements are estimates and are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. We test stones with a Presidium gem tester. We rely on those results, and do not guarantee anything other than that reading.  Colors may change due to monitor settings, thus we do not guarantee that the color of the actual object will match what you see on your monitor.  We either rely upon marks for metal purity, or test for gold content.  If we say it is 14K gold, we guarantee it.
Here is a beautiful antique Victorian chatelaine watch fob.  It has a gold tone wash or plating.  I do not know what the base metal is, however it looks a lot like silver with a gold vermeil wash.    The chain is comprised of three separate chains, a single rope twisted chain with a chevron mesh chain on either side.  The width of the three chains together measures 3/16 inches wide. The chain that leads to the T-bar measures 1 inch, with the T-bar measuring 1-1/2 inches long. The chain leading to the fob measures 5-1/2 inches long.  The charm/ball on the end measures 17.6mm in diameter at its widest.  The fob/charm itself is two tone, with leaves on it in relief. There are also some tiny glass beads in it, but most of them are missing.  The entire piece weighs 13.2 grams overall.

Important Shipping information: We ship via priority mail and use priority mail boxes.  We package in the highest grade materials including new, previously unused bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts.  We include Insurance in the shipping estimate.  If we have a brown box that the item will fit into, we will ship via parcel post or first class mail if you ask.  We understand that shipping costs can be expensive.  We do our best to minimize the cost but if you email us before bidding or paying, we will do whatever we can to work with you.
Insurance is included in shipping cost.
Payment is expected within 3 days of close of auction. Shipments are generally made within 2 days of receipt of payment.
