An 1835 classic head, quarter eagle .5 gold piece graded AU 53 by NGC. It holds a lot of detail for the grade with an attractive patina that matches among each side. A very flashy coin for an AU 53 grade that is perfect for a U.S type collector. These type coins have been much harder to come by lately in these mid-grade levels.
